Ferguson wins Trail Run

BARBOURSVILLE -- Andrew Ferguson from Lesage beat a field of 36 runners to win the Short 10K Trail Run in Barboursville Community Park.

Ferguson, 20, had a time of 41 minutes, 0.4 seconds.

Diane Riley, 48, of Ona, was the female 10K winner and placed fourth overall with a time of 47:17.5.

Eric Cooper, 26, from Milton, won the 5K run with a time of 18:18.5.

Karen Cuda, 33, from Huntington, finished as the first female and was fourth overall with a time of 21:01.9.

The runs were presented by Short Chiropractic with proceeds going to Golden Girl Group Home.
