Inclement weather postpones MU game

Oct. 29, 2012 @ 11:58 PM

HUNTINGTON — Hurricane Sandy and its companion storms affected Marshall University’s basketball schedule.

Marshall postponed its men’s basketball exhibition game Monday night with Bluefield College because of bad weather in the Bluefield, Va. area.

The men’s game was rescheduled Thursday as part of a Cam Henderson Center doubleheader with a Thundering Herd women’s basketball exhibition game.

Marshall’s women play Concord University at 5:30 p.m., Thursday. The men’s game follows at 8 p.m.

Spectators can attend both games with the purchase of either a men’s or women’s ticket.

Since the men’s exhibition is part of the season ticket package, people with a women’s ticket must move to the upper bleacher area at the start of the men’s game.
