Herd inks series with N.C. State
HUNTINGTON - Marshall athletic director Mike Hamrick announced a home-and-home football series with ACC member N.C. State on Thursday.
The Thundering Herd will travel to Carter-Finley Stadium in Raleigh, N.C., on Sept. 9, 2017 while the Wolfpack will return the trip on Sept. 22, 2018.
"North Carolina State is a very good opponent for us, and it's an exciting matchup for our football program and for our fans," Hamrick said. "Our Herd followers will be enthused about the close proximity of the game at State, and will welcome the Wolfpack as a quality attraction here at Edwards Stadium."
