Greenbrier to host Annika Academy
WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va. -- Top golf attractions keep finding their way to The Greenbrier Resort.
The latest is the Annika Academy, Hall of Fame golfer Annika Sorenstam's golf, fitness and nutrition school, Aug. 28-31.
It won't be Sorenstam's first visit to The Greenbrier Resort. In 1994, the native of Sweden who now calls Orlando home, played for Team Europe in the Solheim Cup. The United States team beat the Europeans, 13-7. Marshall University graduate Tammie Green defeated Sorenstam in singles, 3 and 2.
Sorenstam's session will be limited to no more than 10 guests.
Highlights of the Annika Academy include:
Three days of golf and fitness instruction with Sorenstam's team of instructors.
Private dinner with Sorenstam and her academy team.
Photographs and autographs with Sorenstam.
27 holes of golf with greens fees and carts included.
Course management instruction during golf.
