WVU set to induct 6 into sports Hall of Fame
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) — West Virginia University will induct six new members into its Sports Hall of Fame this weekend.
Induction ceremonies will take place at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Caperton Indoor Practice Facility near Mountaineer Field in Morgantown. The event is free and the public is invited to attend.
The 2008 class includes three-sport standout Roy Lester, football players Eddie Bartrug and Bob Gresham, basketball standouts Lowes Moore and James Sottile, and cross country and track coach Martin Pushkin.
