Here's video from the 2012 Huntington motocross event. Action Sports Racing is revving up the annual West Virginia Indoor Motocross Championship that returns to the Big Sandy Superstore Arena at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Jan. 4-5. Tickets are $23 and $12 for children to join thousands of racing fans and hundreds of competitors catching big air and spinning clods on some 1,200 cubic feet of dirt track with double, triple and tabletop jumps that keep the riders flying through the air and battling bar to bar all weekend long. Come out and see some of the top pros (former Huntington races have drawn in such riders as National Supercross and Motocross Champions Jeff Stanton, Mike Larocco, Todd DeHoop, Broc Sellards and Mike Brown) as well as amateurs of all skills levels and ages as young as 5 manning up on 50cc mini bikes. The pits open for rider registration at 10 a.m. Friday and Saturday. Practice begins at noon, Pro practice at 3, and opening ceremonies at 7 p.m. and racing begins at 7:30.
