Here's a video about The Summit Bechtel Reserve, the new permanent site of the Boy Scouts of America's National Jamboree. The 10,600-acre site is currently being prepared as one of the national Boy Scouts of America's four high adventure camp as well as the permanent site of the National Jamboree set for July 15-24. The Jamboree is expected to draw about 40,000 Scouts, Venturers, volunteers and staff from all over the country. The Summit encompasses 10,600 acres of forest between the New River Gorge National River and the US-19 expressway north of Beckley, W.Va, near Glen Jean.
