Here's an official video of the New River Train ride from the Collis P. Huntington Railroad Historical Society Inc. Since 1966, the Society has organized the 300-mile trips. This year's trips are set for Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 19-20 and Oct. 26-27. The trips originate from Huntington and offer visitors a glimpse of West Virginia's fall beauty and history. The train stops in St. Albans to pick up passengers, travels through the New River Gorge to Hinton and heads back to Huntington during peak autumn foliage season. Call 866-639-7487 or 304-523-0366.
