Here's the official video for "Trace Around Your Heart," a country music film starring Sasha Colette and Trace Cherokee. The film, by Brainwrap Productions, will be shown at 7:45 p.m. Friday, April 12, as part of the 2013 Appalachian Film Festival, which showcases independent films from the 13-state Appalachian region. The film follows fallen country star Trace Cherokee, who has grown comfortable living in obscurity as a country music has-been. But when his former song-writing partner, Sasha Colette, asks him to reunite for a one-night performance, he finally has to confront his crippling stage terrors with the help of his friends Seth Martin and Chappy. The 10th annual film festival will run Friday and Saturday, April 12-13, at the historic Keith-Albee Performing Arts Center in downtown Huntington. The Keith-Albee's current operating Wurtlizer organ will be played by Lexington organist Dean McCleese between films. Admission Friday is a $5 suggested donation at door to support the Keith-Albee Theater Organ Project. Saturday admission is a $5 suggested donation to support the Keith-Albee Performing Arts Center and the Fisher House for Veteran Families, Rockville, Md. (a nonprofit supported by fiddler and filmmaker Boyd Tinsley of The Dave Matthews Band).
