Here's the official video for "Mixed Up" from the Chicago-based funk band The Main Squeeze, who have opened for The Roots and played at Bonnaroo. The band, which is recording an album with producer Randy Jackson of “American Idol” fame, is bringing the funk and the noise to the V Club's dance floor on at 10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30. Cover is $8 for those 18 and up. The region's only funkadelic jammers, 40 Pound Snapper, open the show. Go online at http://www.mainsqueezemusic.com and https://www.facebook.com/40lbsnapperlicious to hear the bands. If you wanna rock harder, the V Club has a doubleshot of regional rockers, No Pause and Ten Carp Lie, after the game on Saturday.
