Sep. 05, 2012 @ 08:43 AM

Here's a short clip of the new Witek and Novak documentary, "Steven Caras: See Them Dance." At 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, West Virginia Public Television will present this new Emmy Award-winning documentary that tells the true story of the New York City Ballet's youngest male dancer who went on to become one of the world's greatest dance photographers. The film takes you inside the private world of professional ballet. The program features legendary dancers such as Jacques d'Amboise, Patricia McBride, Peter Martins, Mia Michaels, Allegra Kent and many others. Directed by Huntington resident Deborah Novak and produced by John Witek, the film won the Grand Prize at the Worldfest-Houston International Film Festival earlier this year. Read an interview with Witek and Novak in Sunday's Herald-Dispatch on Sept. 9.
