Cooper to start another year of Mountaintop Removal Roadshow

LEXINGTON — Ohio Valley Environmental Coalition member and environmentalist Dave Cooper begins another season of his Mountaintop Removal Roadshow starting on Friday, Sept. 5.

Cooper, who lives in Lexington, Ky., is marking his fifth year for his Mountaintop Removal Road Show.

In that time, Cooper has given his presentation to people in 20 states about mountaintop removal mining.

Cooper, who spoke to incoming freshman class of 375 students at Lindsey Wilson College in south-central Kentucky, in late August, has a full schedule through the fall.

He is available to come to your school, church or community group this fall.
