The Marshall Thundering Herd's mens basketball team fell to West Virginia in the Capital Classic, 69-59, in a game that will probably be remembered more for it's ugly ending than the final score.

Robert Goff, along with four WVU players, were ejected at the 1:37 mark after several players hit the floor after a Mountaineers score.

A scuffle ensued and several WVU players left the bench to join the miniature fracas, which led to their ejection.

Marshall didn't have an answer for Mountaineers big man Deniz Kilicli, who had 21 points in the game.

Once again, the Herd had trouble on offense, shooting just 35 percent from the floor and 54 percent from the free throw line.

The loss drops Marshall to 5-4 on the season, while the Mountaineers improve to 3-3.
