ASHFORD, W.Va. — The body of a man found near an elementary school in Boone County has been identified.

West Virginia State Police investigators say that the body of Tyler Ball, 20, was discovered in a creek along County Rt. 1 by a person riding an ATV near Ashford-Rumble Elementary School on Wednesday, Aug. 29.

According to investigators, Ball's body has been sent to the West Virginia Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy to determine a cause of death.
