Family Fun Night at Heritage Farm

Family Fun Night runs from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday, June 10 at Heritage Farm Museum and Village.

HUNTINGTON — From 5 to 9 p.m. Monday, June 10, head out to Heritage Farm Museum and Village where they are hosting a Family Fun Night.

For just $5/person, experience all of your favorite things to do at the farm from our museums, to the petting zoo and wagon rides, and enjoy special programming exclusive to this night.

AllStar Ecology LLC will be demonstrating how bat research is done throughout our state and will be talking all about these fascinating flying mammals who call Appalachia their home. They may even catch some flying around as dusk sets in.

The Marshall University Physics department will be bringing an inflatable planetarium for families to view presentations about the night sky throughout the evening. They will also be having an "Afterglow" for firefly viewing/catching and stargazing after the village gets dark.

On Wednesday, June 12, Heritage Farm will also be hosting its weekly Funington, $5 Kids Day as part of the Cabell Huntington Convention and Visitors Bureau Funington campaign.

The $5 Kids Day that starts at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 12 at Heritage Farm Museum & Village. Sponsored by HIMG $5 Kids' Days runs every Wednesday June-August. They have a ton of hands-on fun down on the farm with all of their children's activities: Petting Zoo, Wagon Rides, Discovery Zone Playground, MakerSpace, Hands-On Museum, and Wild Heritage nature activities at a reduced admission cost. Their main museums, cafe', and other attractions will also be open.
