HUNTINGTON - Marshall University defensive tackle Nyquan Harris was arrested in the overnight hours in Huntington.

Harris, 22, was arrested at 4:05 a.m. Saturday by a member of the Huntington Police Department. He was charged with the misdemeanor charge of obstructing an officer.

According to H-D sports reporter Grant Traylor, Harris missed last week's game against Miami (Ohio) due to injury and, did not make the trip to Raleigh, either. Harris appeared in nine games last year for the Herd, finishing with 33 tackles and 1.5 sacks. For his career he has 57 tackles, three tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks.

As of 10:45 a.m. Saturday, Harris,  a native of Norfolk, Va., had yet to see a magistrate to set bail.
