This is the official video for the 2019 single "Sunshine" by Southern Halo, a country pop trio from Mississippi now residing in Nashville.
Southern Halo is playing the 16th annual "Dawg Dazzle" concert and fireworks, set for July 3 at Harris Riverfront Park.
Kindred Communications organizes the annual event which features a free evening of country music followed by one of the largest fireworks displays in the region. Gates open at 5 p.m.
The Mississippi native sister group, Southern Halo (Natalia, Hannah and Christina Morris) will be playing tunes off of its new album, "Just Like In The Movies. " Southern Halo burst onto the scene in 2014 when they were the youngest artists ever to compete in the Texaco Country Showdown, making it to the national finals at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. They’ve performed at the CMA Music Festival and at a pre-show on the rooftop terrace of the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles. Alabama’s Jeff Cook signed on to produce their debut EP, released in 2014.
Headlining the concert is Dylan Scott, a Louisiana native and Curb Records artist who has charted such hits as “Makin’ This Boy Go Crazy," "Crazy Over Me." and "My Girl." Scott has a new Keith Whitley tribute EP, "An Old Memory."
Also performing is the all-girl group Southern Halo and local group Kala DeHart and Rivertown.
The evening will wrap up with a fireworks displayed, sponsored by Cabell Huntington Hospital.
Free tickets are now available for pickup at Kindred Communications as well as many other area locations including Dutch Miller, McDonald's, Food Fair, GoMart, Little Caesars and The Herald-Dispatch.
Last year, a record crowd of over 19,000 filled the park for Dawg Dazzle.
