Ian and Sarah Carson Hope

Herbert and Phyllis Carson of Barboursville, W.Va., are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter Sarah Carson to Ian Hope, the son of JoBe and Kellie Hope of Culloden, W.Va.

The wedding took place at the historic Keith-Albee Theatre in downtown Huntington, W.Va., on October 20, 2018.

Tanya Abbett officiated the wedding and Chelsea Smith was the Maid of Honor. Jennifer Neimann, Andrea Hensley, Phyllis Bailey, Leah Carson, sisters of the bride, and Olivia Hayes, sister of the groom, were bridesmaids.

J.T. Hope, brother of the groom, was the Best Man, and Jacob Dillinger, Hunter Fitzwater, Tyler Deering, Kelcie Jackson, and Ben Hayes were groomsmen.

The bride’s brothers, Cody Morrison, Peter Carson, Timothy Carson and Christopher Carson, served as ushers.

The bride is a 2012 graduate of Cabell Midland High School Ona, W.Va., and a 2015 graduate of Lewis College of Business at Marshall University.

The groom is a 2013 graduate of Cabell Midland High School, Ona, W.Va.

The two met while they were members of the Cabell Midland Marching Knights.

Special thanks to the those who contributed their time and expertise to decorating the Keith-Albee for this special occasion. Family and friends, including all bridesmaids, groomsmen and ushers, Mary Neimann, Jackie Smith, Willa Hope Farley, Renee Jordan, Robin Jackson, Robin Morrison, Lindsey Bailey, and many others helped make this dream a reality by helping set up and take down the event.

Ian and Sarah left for their honeymoon in Southern California immediately after their wedding. They enjoyed visiting L.A., Pasadena, Disneyland, Universal Studios, Huntington Beach and Costa Mesa.

They plan to continue living in Cincinnati, Ohio, where Sarah is a Strategic Analyst and Ian is attending school for audio visual production and film making at the University of Cincinnati.
