There's a new pizza place in Scott Depot. Located in the former home of Graziano's Pizza, Dough Daddy's Pizza has a variety of different pizzas as well as homemade pepperoni rolls, salads, pasta and subs. Dough Daddy's Pizza opened in November 2018.

"This location was the home of Graziano's Pizza for over 15 years. The space became available to us in October and we just had to come in and clean things up a bit. We didn't really have to do much work before we opened up. We are planning on doing some remodeling in the future," said Daniel Owens, owner of Dough Daddy's Pizza.

"This is my first rodeo as a restaurant owner so it's been a learning experience. We serve a New York-style hand-tossed pizza. We can also do a thin crust, but the hand-tossed is our specialty."

From Tuesdays through Saturdays, Dough Daddy's Pizza offers a lunch buffet with a variety of pizza, pasta, bread sticks, and a full salad bar. The buffet is $10 for adults, $6 for children, and $8 for seniors. There is also a discount for law enforcement and first response workers.

"I would recommend our Dough Daddy Supreme Pizza. It's probably one of our best sellers. It has pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, green peppers, black olives, banana peppers, and Italian sausage," Owens said.

"We also have a drunken chicken mac and cheese pasta. It's kind of like chicken Alfredo but instead of a traditional Alfredo sauce, it has beer cheese. On the appetizer menu we have pizza fries topped with marinara, cheese and pepperoni. Not a lot of places have something like that."

Specialty pizzas range from $13 for a 12-inch to $21 for a 18-inch and the menu includes a taco pizza, a chicken and mushroom Alfredo pizza, and an all meat pizza. Pasta options include baked spaghetti ($9), lasagna ($9), and baked manicotti ($8).

There is a three-pasta sampler available for $13. There is also an assortment of subs for $8 each including a Philly cheesesteak, hot ham and cheese, and a stout battered Pollock fish sandwich.

"I just want everyone to know we're privately owned and not part of a chain. We make all of our dough and sauces are made fresh on site," Owens said. "I've been told we have the coldest beer in Teays Valley."
