Lawrence County Fair coming up July 6-13

Drivers battle it out in the mud during the team demolition derby during opening day of the 2018 Lawrence County Fair in Proctorville, Ohio. The 2019 fair will feature three demolition derbies.

PROCTORVILLE — The Lawrence County Fair is coming soon, and you might be able to win free tickets.

The fair is set for July 6-13 at the Lawrence County Fairgrounds, 775 County Road 107, Proctorville, Ohio. It will feature livestock sales, musical entertainment, rides, crafts, bull riding, demolition derby, food vendors and much more.

The Fair has announced on its Facebook, that it is giving away hundreds of tickets this year. Visit its page for updates and announcements, and share its ticket giveaway posts for a chance to win.

Daily admission to the fair is $10, which includes rides and grandstand events and entertainment. Parking costs $5 per car.

Rides will open at 4 p.m. daily, except on Saturday, July 13, when they will open at 2 p.m. The rides will also be open at a special time from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday for children 12 and younger only.

5:30 p.m.: Lawnmower Derby

6 p.m.: Monday Night Massacre Demolition Derby

July 9

Family Fun Day; 12 and younger $5 admission all day, plus clowns, face painting, petting zoo and more

Noon, 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.: Cincinnati Circus (8 p.m. is the Fire Show)

July 10

7 p.m.: Monster Trucks

July 11

7 p.m.: Outlaw Truck Tug-of-War Showdown KY Truck Tuggers

July 12

7 p.m.: Diamond J Ranch Rodeo Bullriding and Barrell Racing

July 13

3 p.m.: Singing by Southern Thunder and Jamie Baxter 5 p.m.: PowerWheel Derby
