HUNTINGTON — Have you always wanted to write a novel, memoir or poetry but don’t know where to start? A free Ask a Writer workshop is set for 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, at Heritage Station, 210 11th St., Huntington.

Speakers include novelists Tobi Doyle, S.G. Redling, Carter Taylor Seaton and Michael Knost and poet Mary Barbara Moore. Topics include how to get started and keep going; genres; publishing standards; resources and recommendations; how and where to submit to agents, magazines and publishers; and more.
