HUNTINGTON — A basketball court that showcased matchups between future NBA players and the place where Hall of Famer Hal Greer learned to shoot is being resurfaced in preparation for this summer.
The court at the Scott Community Center on 8th Avenue is the home of the Scott Summer League, which has hosted teams from across the country. The Positive People Association is doing the court’s resurfacing. Norman Branch, executive director of the association, said he hopes the resurfacing brings back a high level of competition on the court. The association is a nonprofit community development organization that promotes education and health.
