HUNTINGTON - Four people were arrested Wednesday during a warrant search in connection with a drive-by shooting in Huntington on Friday afternoon, according to a release from the Huntington Police Department.

The shooting happened about 4 p.m. when a red truck and a black SUV exchanged gunfire in the roadway. No one was reported injured.

On Wednesday, the department's Criminal Investigations Bureau and Drug Unit executed a search warrant on a home in the 1200 block of 26th Street.

Johnny Francis III, 18, is charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, as well as an outstanding warrant for being an accessory before and after the fact.

Jacob Loper, 18, is charged with wanton endangerment involving a firearm and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

Paul Hysell, 51, is charged with being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm.

Darla Thompson, 51, is charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.

No further information was released Wednesday.

The following information was provided by booking records at the Western Regional Jail:

Randy Allen Adkins, 46, was jailed at 6:55 p.m. Tuesday. Authorities in Wayne County charged him with unlawful wounding. Bond was $20,000.

Jeremy James Ellis, 23, was incarcerated at 3:20 p.m. Wednesday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him on a felony bailpiece. Bond was not set.

Oshae Jawon Hamilton, 25, was incarcerated at 8:20 a.m. Wednesday. The Federal Bureau of Prisons jailed him on an unspecified felony charge. Bond was denied.

Travis Lee Harrison, 39, was incarcerated at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. Authorities in Lincoln County charged him on a felony capias warrant.
