FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. — Kentucky Department of Highways District 9 crews will close part of KY 752 (Durbin Road) in Boyd County next week to fix an embankment failure.

Work to install T-rail and shore up the embankment on KY 752 about 1.3 miles from the U.S. 23 intersection (milepoint 4.6) will begin Monday, May 13, about 8 a.m. and continue through Friday, May 17.

During that time, KY 752 will remain closed around the clock. Barricades will be placed at Golden Gate Road and near Durbin Missionary Church. Local traffic may pass and continue up to the work site.

All thru traffic will need to detour using KY 757 and KY 1937 or seek alternate routes.

Road work schedules are subject to change depending on weather conditions.
