HUNTINGTON — Marshall University Minority Health Institute’s third annual West Virginia Minority Health Fair is set for noon to 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, at A.D. Lewis Community Center, 1450 A.D. Lewis Ave., in Huntington. It is sponsored by UniCare Health Plan of West Virginia.

Health and wellness screenings, community resources and education, COVID-19 testing and vaccinations by the Cabell-Huntington Health Department as well as flu vaccinations by Walgreens will be offered.

UniCare will also donate $1 million to Marshall University Minority Health Institute to address health equity and disparities among minorities and vulnerable communities statewide at a check presentation ceremony at 11 a.m.
