IRONTON: The following information was compiled from Lawrence County Sheriff's Office reports:
DRUG ARRESTS: A sheriff's deputy stopped a car coming off the 17th Street West bridge Sunday and arrested two suspects. One person who had 27.7 grams of meth. Michael C White, 33, of County Road 56, Ironton, was charged with drug possession, possession of heroin, improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle and having weapons while under disability.
Justin R. Dameron, 37, of Township Road 510N, South Point, was charged with possession of heroin, improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle and having weapons while under disability. He also was charged with an outstanding warrant. Both men were transported to jail.
BURGLARY: A 49-year-old Kitts Hill area woman last week reported that someone stole her Apple watch and a change jar containing about $150. She said the house was unlocked and there was no forced entry.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: A 21-year-old Proctorville woman told authorities Saturday that a Huntington man threw her to the ground and took her car keys and cell phone and left her residence. Jacob N. Mylar, of the 300 block of 6th Avenue, Huntington, was charged with domestic violence and disruption of public service and transported to jail.
DRUG AUSE: A sheriff's deputy responded to an overdose call Saturday after a 37-year-old Proctorville area man left an ambulance after being administered Narcan several times and had to be restrained. He was transported to a local hospital. A deputy seized several syringes and baggies along with drug paraphernalia.
POSSESSION OF HEROIN: A sheriff's deputy responded to an overdose call over the weekend. EMT's administered Narcan to an Elizabeth Township woman who was told to get into treatment or face a criminal charge.
DRUG ABUSE: A sheriff's deputy responded to a drug overdose call Sunday. A 29-year-old South Point area man was administered Narcan and transported to a local hospital.
