IRONTON — Sixteen people were indicted on fourth- and fifth-degree felony charges last week in Lawrence County. The charges generally don’t result in prison sentences.
Terry R. Qualls Jr., 47, of County Road 2, Scottown, was indicted on a charge of the grand theft of $30,000.
Kenneth R. Johnson, 40, of the 3100 block of Bath Avenue, Ashland, was indicted on a charge of possession of heroin.
Rodney S. Miller Jr., 37, of the 700 block of North 5th Street, Ironton, was indicted on a charge of failure to appear.
Edward F. York, 34, of McDermott, Ohio, was indicted on charges of aggravated possession of meth, possession of a fentanyl-related compound and identity fraud.
Joshua Lee Beckelhimer, 41, of Reeves Boulevard, Ashland, was indicted on charges of aggravated possession of drugs, endangering children and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia.
Craigory Grubb, 43, of Grubb Lane, Wurtland, Kentucky, was indicted on charges of aggravated possession of meth and possession of a fentanyl-related compound.
Elijah W. Chapman, 26, of Township Road 1528, Chesapeake, was indicted on a charge of the theft of $3,000 worth of scrap metal.
James C. Brammer, 48, of Gray Street, Ironton, was indicted on charges of aggravated possession of meth and possession of a fentanyl-related compound.
Emily D. Bush, 32, of Portsmouth, Ohio, was indicted on charges of aggravated possession of meth and possession of a fentanyl-related compound.
Lauren E. Summers, 36, of Township Road 1093, South Point, was indicted on charges of aggravated possession of meth and possession of a fentanyl-related compound.
Malvin G. Turner, 74, of Township Road 1033, South Point, was indicted on a charge of possession of cocaine.
Jason D. Broughton, 45, of County Road 46, Waterloo, was indicted on a charge of aggravated possession of meth.
Logan Paul Garcia, 45, of Little Solida Road, South Point, was indicted on a charge of possession of a fentanyl-related compound.
Eric Avery, 43, of County Road 45, Ironton, was indicted on a charge of aggravated possession of meth.
Melissa D. Haas, 53, of Township Road 283N, Ironton, was indicted on a charge of possession of cocaine.
Sheryl R. Logsdon, 52, of Lawrence Street, Ironton, was indicted on a charge of possession of a fentanyl-related compound.
