With regard to John Mandt, the saddest part to me is not that there are people who continue to support him despite the hateful and hurtful things he now admits to having said but that there may well be those who will support him because of his bigotry. Where has such hatred gotten us in the past? What must we do to overcome it? Refusing to (re)elect those who spew such venom is a decent place to start.
