Guns aren’t the problem

We need to avoid knee-jerk reactions to acts of violence, however horrible. Rather than removing or restricting what was used, we need to take the harder path and determine what was the underlying cause for this behavior. If we don’t, we’ll be playing “Whack a Mole” and still have the problem. Instead of firearms we’ll be reading about knives, acid, hammers, baseball bats, screwdrivers, bombs, cars and trucks. Oh wait a minute. If we read foreign news, that’s what’s being used in other countries. These increasing acts of violence isn’t just a USA problem. It’s a worldwide problem.
