When we want to find men 18 to 29 for the Huntington Police Department, we find them in Poca, Charleston, Huntington, Point Pleasant and Proctorville. These men are all local Tri-State people. But when we look for Marshall University football players, why do we look elsewhere?

Yes, yes, I know Randy Moss and others (a handful) are from West Virginia. but look at Pennington, Leftwich, Troy Brown. We know these guys have turned out great. But my point is, we go to Georgia, Florida, North/South Carolina, Tennessee. Don't we ever give West Virginia football players the right or opportunity to play?

If we can find you men here to be police, we can find young men here to play football for Marshall University.
