In his first action of the season, Obialo set career highs in receptions (8) and receiving yards (146) to lead Marshall’s offense.

Defense: LB #4 Tavante Beckett

Beckett finished with 13 tackles and had a fourth-quarter fumble recovery to lead Marshall’s defense.

Special teams: WR #9 Talik Keaton

Keaton had a key 27-yard punt return and also added a subsequent 34-yard reception on a flea-flicker to lead a drive that pushed Marshall into a lead it did not give up.
