The Putnam County Commission announces the groundbreaking ceremony for the Manila Ridge Waterline Extension project to be held at the Manila Chapel Church at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 9.

This project will bring public water service from WV American Water to 50 residents. The Putnam County Commission was awarded a $1.5 million Community Development Block Grant Award through the WV Governor's Office to help make this project possible.

County officials and other local and state leaders will participate in the ceremony.
