HUNTINGTON - If you missed the window to purchase tickets to see the locally created movie "Twelve Pole" before the theater sold out, you may just have one last chance.
After selling out a full theater room at Marquee Cinemas Pullman 16, the local establishment is opening another room for the premiere event set for Thursday, April 26, at 7:30 p.m.
A red carpet event will begin at 6 p.m. in which viewers will be given the opportunity to meet the cast and crew behind the horror movie directed, produced and filmed entirely in Wayne County.
The movie, a Cinesavage production, centers around a group of friends who have decided to make their money by flipping old houses for profit. However, the first house they pick has quite an evil attachment and the house essentially needs blood.
Director and writer Sam Hodge said the film separates itself from modern horror by going back to what was good about the 70s and 80s grit and extended kill scenes.
The movie is filmed in the building that houses local haunted attraction Twelvepole Manor and stars Joshua Adkins, Hannah Ruth Boyles, Jeremy Blankenship, Shannon Ramey, Travis Robinson and Hodge with Brittany Hensley, Johnny Herman, Brittany Nicely, Evan Hubbard, Taylor Johnson and Tyler Adkins.
The Wayne County group began shooting the film Jan. 7, 2017, and wrapped up shooting at the end of August 2017.
After the April 26 premiere, the film has been picked up to be distributed by Wild Eye Releasing out of New Jersey.
Around since 2008, Wild Eye specializes in horror, exploitation, dark art house, cult and documentary films from around the world. "Twelve Pole" will be released on all regular digital outlets, on video on demand and on DVD through all major retailers. It also has its own IMDB listing.
Tickets for the premiere are available at the Marquee
Cinema Pullman location as well as online at https://www.marqueecinemas.com/ticketing/#tickets/.
