WAYNE Recovery is happening in Wayne County and in the Tri-State area, so a few organizations are combining efforts to celebrate.

On June 29 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., spend the day in fellowship with folks that have been on the journey to recovery. The event will feature speakers throughout the day and take place at Virginia Point in Kenova.Attendees are encouraged to bring a chair, or blanket, a picnic lunch and join in a day of support and power in fighting this battle.

ACME SOUND (The DJ) Thomas E Freeman will be there cranking out more jams than smuckers and Smokehouse BBQ will be there selling their famous fixings.

The event is sponsored by Marie's House of Wayne, Recovery Coach Donna Bishop and the West Virginia University Extension Service Family Nutrition Program.

Anyone interested in sponsoring or vending please contact Lisa Bell by private message.
