CEREDO – The Marshall University Basketball team had four players attend Ceredo-Kenova Middle School last Wednesday to spend time with our local kids and take some pictures.

Former C-K alumni Jay Michael Cisco set up the event for the students. Cisco is currently enrolled in Marshall University as a Physical Education major and is doing his student teaching at C-K Middle School. Cisco, the nephew of Key Player Nation basketball coordinator Mark Cisco says it was a special event for the kids.

“It showed how much the community really means to Marshall’s basketball program. This is a program that prides themselves on local recruiting and making sure they are active within the community,” said Cisco.
